FCC Indiana, located in Portland, IN, currently has openings on 2nd and 3rd shift in our Press, Lathing, Machining, Assembly, and Inspection areas.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Follow written and verbal instructions, including work standards and check sheets, in order to produce various product components Inspect and verify accuracy of product for quality conformance using measuring and testing machines/equipment or by visual examination Adjust, repair or replace defective parts using basic hand tools Record production data in computer system or on paper.
Maintain production progress in relationship to the production schedule.
Adhere to machine/equipment preventative maintenance plans Comply with departmental continuous improvement activities (product quality, production efficiencies, scrap, downtime) Promote and ensure conformance to the company's TS 16949 procedures (work standards, regulations, quality manual) Promote and ensure conformance to the company's ISO 14001 procedures (recycling, reducing waste) Promote and ensure a safe, clean, harassment free, working environment.
Comply with department 5C activities Effectively communicate with management, direct supervisor and associates Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age Previous manufacturing experience preferred High School Diploma or equivalent Understand basic math Starting Wage and
