Assembly Operator 3rd shift hours are 10:
48 pm to 7:
18 am $2 shift premium for 3rd shift.
Summary:
A successful Assembly Operator can safely and efficiently assemble products that meet all quality requirements.
This is an hourly, non-exempt position and reports to the Production Planner Supervisor.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Interpret work orders, engineering drawings and specifications.
Use parts list and retrieve all parts needed to assemble order.
Capability to use sand blast and wash & dry equipment.
Depending upon size and weight of the item to be assembled, using the proper lifting method.
Continually inspect products and processes throughout assembly.
Inspect and test the final assembly to ensure it meets specifications.
Crosstrain on plant machinery as required.
Prolonged periods standing.
Ability to pass a basic fitness test.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
